krpm should be very easy to install. Since you are reading this documentation I shall assume that you have untarred the krpm*.tgz file and have therefore got a krpm directory. Simply enter this directory and type ./install.sh and krpm should compile and install itself. If compilation fails then check that your system meets the requirements for krpm.

Also, for krpm to work correctly the RPM database must be initialised. If typing `rpm -qa' gives an error about `unable to open....` then try `rpm --rebuilddb'.
I like to put krpm in the panel. This can be done by choosing `Panel->Add Application->krpm' from the panel menu.
