TUX 2.0 ------- This is the second binary release of TUX. TUX is a kernel-based, threaded, extremely high performance HTTP server. It is able to efficiently and safely serve both static and dynamic data. TUX moves the HTTP protocol stack to the kernel, and can handle requests for data with both kernel-space and user-space modules. You need one of kernel-2.4.0-0.99.20.tux.i686.rpm kernel-smp-2.4.0-0.99.20.tux.i686.rpm You will also need tux-2.0.1-1.i386.rpm This provides the TUX user space support utilities. mkinitrd-3.0.5-2.i386.rpm modutils-2.4.2-2.i386.rpm These deal with new requirements for the 2.4 kernel kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.23-0.4.i386.rpm If your system uses PCMCIA. PCMCIA may or may not work, but it will work better with this package than with older packages! PCMCIA is not yet an officially supported part of the TUX release. Source RPMs for all packages are available. The TUX mailing list -------------------- There is a mailing list for the discussion of TUX. To subscribe, send mail to tux-list-request@redhat.com with subscribe in the subject line. You can leave the body empty. Support ------- Support for TUX is available.
